Since many ppl hav been asking abt my official album yg blum direveal kan di blog..actually official photos mmg dah tepek sikit sana sini in some entries such as makeup review,dress review,
We had gotten the raw photos much earlier..and some pics were self edited..baru blaja2..huhuh
I love the outdoor shots by the junior photog...sungguh creative..angle pun cantik2.
Boleh tahan la cuma biasalah..ade moment2 yg termiss tu xperla.Komen dr photog lain gambanye tak cukup terang n tak sharp..mcm byk yg gerak2..tp mataku yg normal ni rase ok jelah seme..
After I received the soft copy of the album layout,i was stunned..
why..?
becoz they only edited the background..
The reason why I hired one of the best photog is becoz I hope they could solve my biggest prob which is to cover my acne scars(plus the dented during my wedding time...but alhamdulillah dented tu dah hilang and kulit tu dah rata blk skang)
But..hasilnya agak mengecewakan..they claimed that if they edited my face it will take long ...hmm..kiranye 3 bln tak sempat nak deliver album.
Tapi my engagement photog yg tak hebat n terkenal pun boleh edit my photo jadi cantik giler in 1 mth jer..
So after ive screened the layout,byk juga i tuka gamba sbb x sesuai..and some I demanded them to edit..a few photos jer pun..bukanlah edit jadi mcm Bunga Cinta Lestari pun..edit sikit2 jer..which i can do in 1min using auto blur..hehe
Kelmarin after we collected our album,I wasnt sad at all..eventho I wasnt happy w the outcome..sbb dah tgk layout so the expectation is there.Infact rase lega sbb dh dpt album,boleh jwb soalan org2 yg nak tgk album kan..hehe

(MIL hardly say bad things about ppl&things..susah nak dgr negative comments from MIL so when she said like that i immediately got it)

Personally I think they are nice...easy to work with and Fairuz pun baik orangnye..layankan aje kerenah kami..heheh

babe, i guess to much editing pun tak cantik.. i mean, sket2 ok la... sbb this is ourself kan.. masa I received my album, samalah mcm u.. gambar besar siap nampak liang2 roma lagi..ahahahaha.. tapi bila pikir2 balik, "Hey, it's me..dah mmg I camtue kan...". 1 lagi kan, i rasa yg junior blh edit sbb they have less job kot dr yg pro.. hihii.. tapi to be honest, i pun tak berapa gemar album i even dr pro-photog. gambar mcm kabur jer.. harus i benciiii! hahaha
diah, i phm perasaan u. coz bile kt hire photog mahal nih kt expect our face become flawless, eventhough in reality nye tidak ;p (ala2 mcm top model tuh, inreality takde la lawo mane pun)bile u komen mcm nih, i suppose i tak kan terkejut dgn my wed photo pulak yek. coz i pun hire avicenna ;p haha
anyway, pic tunang dlu tak edit pun, tp i redha jek sbb fren yg ambil kan bukan profesional puns.

a bit dissapointed kan bila tgk album tak berapa cantik. like mine, dia tak edit sangat so nampak jugak my scars. kalau sticky album boleh la kita edit dan print sendiri tapi customs redha je lah.hehe :P
Diah, i already hired Avicenna but then i heard a lot of " tak sedap" stories bout them. They couldn't maintain the quality of their pics coz they take a lot of jobs and lastly have to outsource the editing etc etc to other party. Their delivery time also very bad. kenape other photographers can deliver in one month with editing yang mmg puas hati?
I'm contemplating on changing my official photographer and hire them just for pre wedding coz dah put down deposit byk. Rasa sakit hati nanti kalau the outcome is not as expected. Buat pe nk hire photographer ribu-riban kalau mcm tu rite? Kalau nk low quality baik hire yang tak femes sgt tp murah. lg puas hati.

hmm.. that was what i felt masa dapat album (yang siap 3 bulan jugak after my wedding).. Again, my review would be bias since I didnt get the photos from my second reception from Fairuz. Nice to work with - that's a given sebab they have to build good rapport with customers (for any type of business as a matter of fact)- yang penting they have to deliver what we paid them for.
I just can't help it.. I'm still bias towards F. :p

diah -- *huggles* I know how u feel. You pun persankan I dapat my photo album lambat but I know the reason was becos office diorang kena broke in.
Fairuz still hutang me 2 framed pics.. despite I dah bayar habis. Album I dapat lambat. kena kejar dia dua tiga kali.
My skin not that perfect sangat. --sebelum kawin tu monthly facisl help out sangat -- even out skin tone
And I do admit editing avicenna not that good *pasal kat umah I prob dengan lighting so gambar banyak jadi terover tone greenish... gambar sanding tak lawa langsung. Asalnya I suruh Fairuz edit habis -- last2 tak edit sangat and colour my pics a bit off.
Personally I prefer my album yang I edit sendiri compared to their album editing. Tapi I mmg nak sangat at least 1 storyboard album keras ala cardboard tu so I redha sgt.
Nak ambik syahrin aziz -- harapan dah punah bila I tanya -- dia charge RM5K per event kalau nak syahrin bukan junior dia yang tangkap... kalau nikah plus sanding -- RM10 K --> dah boleh buat duit buat kabinet dapur rumah LOL.
I still say your pics looked lovely and I do say you should ask Fairuz to re-edit ur pics -- esp cos any bad reviews of them online would surely affect diorang punya periuk nasi sedikit sebanyak ok...

no lah - ur not over reacting. I pun rasa frustrated pasal kena kejar album tak siap tu. That's why I edit my photos myself and print kat photobook dulu -- puas hati.
If you have extra money - upah jer sesapa photog edit the pics back and reprint your album guna photobook malaysia - I think tgh promo 25% off now --I think la ke dah habis dah...

my cousin used Kid Chan as her wedding photog..was superbly done. Fantastic result! I mean, we pay medium price therefore it should be meeting or above expectations. If we pay premium price for it we'll definitely get a great outcome such as Kid Chan's. Tapi tak semestinya when we render the services of a-not-so expensive photog, photog tu hanya bagi result below expectations kan?
btw, my friend used Subhi Karim for her wedding and the outcome was good. We also used her for our 10th yr school reunion. :)

tahukah saudari sebagai seorang photographer, kami sebaik mungkin merakamkan detik-detik indah buat saudari dengan pelbagai peralatan,kemudian berhempas pulas pula mengedit gambar dan seterusnya menyiapkan pula album. terlalu banyak sudah rasanya tanggungjawab kami sebagai photographer. sekarang, tugas kami pula mencantikkan kulit anda?
apakah sebabnya nurul shukor, makeup artist terkenal charge sehingga rm1500? kak saidatulnisa, sehingga rm1000? tak silap saya, kerana kepakaran mereka mengendalikan pengantin-pengantin yang muka mereka tidak berapa elok. sekiranya pada peringkat awal, you menyedari akan keadaan kulit muka you, sewajarnya you memilih untuk menggunakan khidmat mereka yang betul-betul pakar, bukan sekadar makeup artist rm300-400, yang tidak terbukti lagi kebolehan mereka menutup flaw di muka anda.
saya tidak membela fairuz disini cuma ingin memberikan satu perspektif baru buat semua. jangan hanya salahkan photographer, peranan makeup artist juga HARUS diambilkira.

For ur info,my makeup was done by Sue Cantik,a well known name in wedding industry and she charged RM950 per session..
Mula2 saya igt photographer yg bz mmg edit begitu tp setelah review oleh kwn2 photographer yg professional,they agreed that the pics could have been edited better.
So i dunno y Avicenna didnt edit the pics properly&i know they know it.Tapi saya terima je album tu dgn redha sbb whats past is past.Lagipun Fairuz is a nice guy.I just wish they had the feedback form from their customers.
